From Computer Science To $540M In Organic Traffic Value
I studied computer science. I was supposed to write code.
I ended up writing words instead. That turned into 10 years of content marketing.
This is how I got here, and what I do now.
How it started
I started with content creation. Just writing things people wanted to read. I didn’t anything about SEO or marketing. Whatever I was asked, I was writing for a very small per word amount.
Then I got cusrious, “How are people finding what I write.”
So I learned SEO. Then distribution. That changed how I work.
Now I call myself a B2B SaaS content marketer.
10 years and more numbers

I did some calculation a while back, to reached $540M in organic traffic value across my work.
(That’s what you would have paid to buy the same traffic through ads.)
Most of it in three areas:
Adtech. Long sales cycles. Technical buyers. Half your audience thinks they know everything already.
Fintech. Compliance checks every sentence. You learn to stay interesting inside a small box.
Martech. The most crowded content space online. Everyone publishes.
SEO, check.
Marketing, check.
Distribution,???
Okay, most marketers I talked to, mention calendar, strategy, and even system sometimes.
The more I work with them, I feel they have a distribution problem.
They publish four blogs a month. Traffic stays flat. So they publish six. Still flat. So they hire another writer.
More content into the same broken pipe.
I work on distribution because that’s where the money leaks out.
What I do
I build content marketing and distribution systems that a company’s own team can run later.
Documented, repeatable, handed over.
It’s basically, same piece of content broken and re-created form multiple channels from socials to newsletters, to sale’s assets.

My work usually covers:
- SEO and AEO strategy. Search is splitting in two. Google rankings still matter. Answer engines like ChatGPT and Perplexity pull from different signals. Both are kinda same.
- Inbound lead generation. Make your traffic share their emails, so that you have owned audience now.
- AI content marketing. Using AI to raise output without the writing going flat. The second part is the hard part.
- Fractional content marketing leadership. Senior strategy for teams who don’t need a full time hire yet.
On AI
Everyone uses AI now. So do I.
Most AI content reads the same. Polite, tidy, forgettable.
The fix is easy: Once AI is done, I re-work the draft to add my voice, make it human again, readable, not boring (hopefully).
I spend a lot of time on this. Volume without the boredom.
Where I land on all this
Content marketing spent 10 years optimizing for Google and learning human psycology into making them like my brand, trust it too. Now Google isn’t the only door, and a lot of teams are panicking.
The basics didn’t change. Be useful. Be findable. Be distributed.
The channels moved. The job stayed the same.
I could be wrong. Ask me again in 2 years.
My learning is: build systems, break them, and build them again.
